정확히 말하면...
15년 만에 다시 찾은 명동교자,
그런데 이번엔 칼국수가 아닌 비빔국수였습니다.
🍽 "역시 명동교자"라는 말이 절로 나온 맛
한자리에서 수십 년간 사람들의 사랑을 받아온 이유.
그건 당연히 맛이겠죠.
비빔국수를 한 입 먹자마자,
“아, 이래서 사람들이 찾는구나” 싶었어요.
양념이 정말 강하고 깊은데,
먹을 땐 “배불러, 다 못 먹겠다~” 싶다가도…
집에 오니 생각나는 그 맛!
이게 바로 명동교자의 힘이 아닐까요?
🏙 명동의 분위기는 예전 같지 않지만…
코로나 이후의 명동은 많이 달라졌더라고요.
예전의 활기찬 거리 대신,
비둘기만 남은 듯한 고요한 거리에 살짝 놀랐습니다.
예전엔 명동교자 앞에서 웨이팅 기본 30분이었는데,
이번엔 바로 입장!
사람 없는 명동교자라니…
처음 겪는 일이었어요.
🍜 칼국수는 역시 명불허전
비빔국수를 먹었지만, 옆 테이블에서 칼국수가 나오는 순간…
진한 육수 향에 군침이 절로 돌았어요.
잘 익은 면과 깊은 맛, 보기만 해도 ‘찐’이죠.
🚫 단점? 여전히 주차는 헬
명동교자의 유일한 단점은 역시 주차입니다.
주차는 기대하지 마시고,
튼튼한 두 다리로 방문하시는 걸 추천드려요.

There must be a reason why this place has remained beloved for decades.
And the answer is simple: the taste.
From the first bite of the bibim noodles, I could instantly understand why people keep coming back.

- I thought I was too full to finish it, but once I got home...
I found myself craving it again. That lingering flavor? That’s the magic of Myeongdong Kyoja.
🏙 Myeongdong Feels Different Now
Walking through Myeongdong felt strange.
After the pandemic, the area isn’t quite what it used to be.
Gone were the bustling crowds and busy shops—it was almost quiet,
with only pigeons filling the streets.
It felt a bit surreal.
And Myeongdong Kyoja, once known for long lines and 30-minute waits?
This time, I walked right in with no wait.
First time that’s ever happened to me!
🍜 The Kalguksu? Still Mouthwatering
Even though I ordered bibim noodles,
the aroma of kalguksu from the next table made my mouth water instantly.
- That rich broth
- Those perfectly chewy noodles...
You just know from the look and smell—it’s the real deal.
🚫 The Downside? Parking = Nightmare
If there’s one thing that hasn’t changed, it’s this:
Parking is still a nightmare.
Just don’t. 😂
It’s much better to visit on foot or by public transport.
And honestly?
On a rainy day, I’d totally come back just for that bowl of noodles. 🤤
